Accommodation
Studio Alouette offers the best of modern technology blended with comfort and our renowned hospitality and warm welcome. Our music studio and 10 bed residential centre is set in over 2 hectares of French farmland, in Confolens, Charente, South West of France. The original farmhouse is close to 150 years old and enjoys the title of ‘highest house in the commune’ although much of the Charente is flat!
Our accommodation is a tastefully restored barn where we have created an 8 bed Dortoir or ‘sleeping room’. The en-suite shower room is spacious and has 2 private shower rooms and a dressing area. Dressing gowns, bedding, towels and toiletries are supplied at no extra charge. All our accommodation is on one level and has been designed to be fully wheelchair accessible.
Breakfast and dinner are included in the price and served at a time to suit your group. A 2 course vegetarian evening meal is cooked from fresh, local ingredients and can be shared on a choice of outdoor patios or inside in our cosy dining room.

Pricing for your group
Our accommodation pricing is based on exclusive use of the Dortoir f& facilities for your group. Pricing includes bed, breakfast & home cooked evening meal plus endless tea & coffee! Our outdoor kitchen has facilities for storing, preparing & cooking food for your lunches & snacks.
We offer two options for the Studio pricing per day, with or without a studio engineer to work on your project. Talk to Joe about what you may need, to get the best from your residency at joe@studioalouette.com
We ask for a 50% deposit on confirmation of your booking & the balance due 2 weeks before your arrival.
