Residential Music Retreats
New to Studio Alouette, we present a series of exciting residential retreats. Our team of tutors, all with a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, lead the 5 day retreats. We offer a range of music retreats including guitar, song writing and singing. In addition, we also present photography, astronomy, writing and reading through our sister organisation Rural Retreat France here on site.
Our music retreats have been carefully designed to provide you with space, time and high quality tuition. We pride ourselves on our supportive and welcoming atmosphere. We take care of everything, so you are free to immerse yourself in learning, away from distractions of daily life.
Each retreat is just €550 for 5 nights of full board
Includes B&B, lunch & dinner, endless tea & coffee & all tuition.
Please note! Flights, transfers & travel are not included.
All retreats are limited to 8 people, meaning there will be plenty of one to one opportunities with the tutors. We have designed a varied programme with taught sessions, practice time, collaborative working, jam sessions, recording sessions and maybe performance at the end of the week!
In addition to the excellent teaching from our experienced tutors, you will benefit from the use of a fully equipped recording studio with engineer, opportunity to work with other musicians and time to focus on your music in a setting guaranteed to inspire you.
Hospitality
Our retreats are all full-board accommodation in our impressive Dortoir, with everything you need for your stay. To make it as easy as possible, we provide bedding, towels, toiletries and even dressing gowns. All you need are a change of clothes and personal items.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are freshly prepared and when possible, you can eat in one of the dining areas in our beautiful gardens.
The carefully designed timetable, plenty of space and quiet hideaways allow for private practice and personal time throughout the week.
Travel to our Music Retreats
Our music retreats are hosted here at Studio Alouette in Confolens, Charente in West France. We are most easily reached by flights from London and Manchester to Limoges. Alternatively, you can drive and take the ferry or Channel Tunnel or the Eurostar to Paris and train to Poitiers. See our main travel page for more details here.
Please note: Your travel is not included in the cost of the music retreat and you will need to arrange your flights, ferry or train once you have reserved your space. Please do call or email and we will be happy to advise you of the best way to travel and what documents you will need.
