A studio is only as good as the musicians within it!
At the heart of the Studio Alouette is me, composer, multi-instrumentalist, engineer and producer, Joe Woolf. I built the studio from the ground up in the summer of 2021. I know every nook and cranny of the studio, as well as every knob and button on the our fantastic equipment and kit. I only feel truly myself behind my desk, on stage or behind my instrument and I hope my passion shines through in my work.

Teaching
For all levels and age groups, I offer teaching in my 3 favourite instruments – Guitar, Drums and Keyboard. Lessons start from €25 per hour taken from the beautiful surroundings of Studio Alouette.
Producing
Playing and recording in various bands in the past has given me great insight into the complexities and the nuances of the recording process. I take great pleasure in pooling my experience into one role in the studio – producer. My proficiency in performing allows me to communicate with musicians efficiently and appropriately and my knowledge in recording allows me to translate those musical ideas into a fully fledged, effective record. Working all week, in the same room with the same people requires some effective people and time management – something I pride myself in.
