Singing Retreat
Sing to Bloom
Opening a space for people to express themselves and find freedom in using their voice!
Our Singing Retreats
Our singing retreat is hosted at Studio Alouette: a beautiful residential centre in the western French countryside.
Away from the distractions of everyday life, you can develop your voice with an experienced coach and a small group of like-minded singers.
In a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, you will learn the skills and techniques to find your confidence and your own unique voice.
Have you always wanted to sing but believe you don’t have a good enough voice?
Do you sing effortlessly in the car or shower and then freeze when in front of others?
Do you tense when you go for the big or high notes?
Do you know how to control your breath for a better sound?
Would you like to find your own unique voice and style?
Do you fear your voice cracking or panic about notes being too high or too low?
Do you ever feel that singing and performing was for ‘real singers’ but deep down you’d love to try?

Introducing your singing retreat coach – Rachel Waters
Rachel is a passionate vocal coach and ‘singing for wellbeing’ practitioner. Having been teaching for 10 years, Rachel has supported singers of all ages, experiences and backgrounds.
Whilst studying BA Hons in Popular Music and Recording at Salford University, Rachel’s interest in understanding the voice grew. She began to research training to address her own issues, learn from some of the best voice experts in the UK and ultimately champion others in their singing experience.
Now Rachel specialises in guiding singers to find their own unique gifts, grow in confidence and cultivate a singing experience that works for them.
Rachel is an amazing teacher! Very patient & a great communicator! Happily shares knowledge & experience! Would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking at improving their singing & performance! Laurence.
Rachel is an absolute pleasure to work with- she’s great at taking the time to explain each technique, so that not only do you know how to do it, but also why it will help your voice. I genuinely feel like my confidence improves with each lesson! Jess.
I’ve had both solo singing lessons and group sessions with Rachel, and I’ve thoroughly
enjoyed all of them.
My main goal was to become more confident in my own singing ability, and Rachel is
definitely helping with that. Alex.
Even though I’ve only had a couple of sessions with Rachel, she’s been amazing! I already feel like she’s helped me improve my singing technique, as well as my confidence! Everything about the sessions has been great, from warm-ups to post gig check-ins. Tom
