Residential Music Retreats

New to Studio Alouette, we present a series of exciting residential music retreats. Our team of professional musicians with a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, lead the week long retreats. All music retreats have been carefully designed to provide you with space, time and high quality tuition, in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. We take care of everything so you are free to immerse yourself in learning, away from the distractions of daily life.

Each retreat is just €650 9early bird) for one week of full board ( B&B, lunch & dinner), endless tea & coffee, airport transfers & all tuition.

All music retreats are limited to 8 people, meaning there will be plenty of one to one opportunities with the tutors. We have designed a varied programme with taught sessions, practice time, collaborative working, jam sessions, recording sessions and maybe performance at the end of the week!

In addition to the excellent teaching from our experienced tutors, you will benefit from the use of a fully equipped recording studio with engineer, opportunity to work with other musicians and time to focus on your music in a setting guaranteed to inspire you.

Hospitality

Our music retreats are full-board with accommodation in our impressive Dortoir, with everything you need for your stay. To make it as easy as possible, we provide bedding, towels, toiletries and even dressing gowns. All you need are a change of clothes and personal items.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are freshly prepared and served at a time to suit guests. Wherever possible you can eat in one of the dining areas in our beautiful gardens.

The carefully designed timetable, plenty of space and quiet hideaways allow for private practice and personal time throughout the week.

Travel to our Music Retreats

Our music retreats are hosted here at Studio Alouette in Confolens, Charente in West France. We are most easily reached by flights from London and Manchester to Limoges. Airport transfers from Limoges airport on the first and last days of the retreat are included in the price of the retreat.

Alternatively, you can drive and take the ferry or Channel Tunnel or the Eurostar to Paris and train to Poitiers. See our main travel page for more details here.

Please note: Your travel is not included in the cost of the music retreat and you will need to arrange your flights, ferry or train once you have reserved your space. Please do call or email and we will be happy to advise you of the best way to travel and what documents you will need.
